Good morning Nicholas,

My question is very simple today :)

Do I need a CAPTCHA solution like Joomla's core CAPTCHA system when I am using admin tools..

Or something like keycaptcha looks promising.

Should I use the admin tools combination with CAPTCHA solutions?

Or admin tools alone can block spammers on my site?

Thank you.

I would advise you to always use a CAPTCHA on your site if you allow free registration of users. Admin Tools is great at fending off hackers. It can't help much with spammers, except the Project Honeypot integration. If a spammer is not known to Project Honeypot he won't be blocked. That's why you need the CAPTCHA. Being perfectly honest: I am redesigning our site. The new site does have a CAPTCHA for free registration.
