and i can send emails fine but i do not a message from admin tools that i have been attatcked or that i mysef have just visited the site!.

what have i missed please.... all this happened after the joomla upgrade.... i thought things were a bit too quite!

some site have massive amounts of logs of attacking that i hope (most likely) admin stopped!

very worried

We are simply using Joomla!'s JMailer class, included in Joomla! itself (it's not written by us and is not part of our software) to send out the emails. We have no control over how this works. We do tell it to send out the email. Anything that happens after than point happens in core Joomla! code. Sorry :(
