Hello there,

I have installed admin tools V 2.2.10 on a Joomla V 1.7.4 Stabel
The PHP-Version is 5.3.27 on an Apache Webserver
The hoster is siteground.

My problem is, the the installation worked fine and I have a new submenu called Admin Tools in the backend, but when I click on it nothing appears. The plugins are properly installed and I can configure them, but no component. In the database I also can see the created tables.

Does anayone has an idea, what that could be?

Thanks
Orti

Joomla! 1.7 is no longer supported. Please note that the problem you are experiencing has to do with one of two known Joomla! 1.6/1.7 bugs we have documented in https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/abbrokesite.html

Well, the whole backend works fine, only when I click on the component Admin Tools, then I see nothing else but the administrator menu and informations about users in frontend/backend and everything, what appears on every site in the backend for standard.

Sorry, as I said Joomla! 1.7 is not supported since a little over a year ago. I don't even have a copy of Joomla! 1.7 anymore. For what is worth, you should not be running on Joomla! 1.7. It is insecure and can be hacked very easily now that its vulnerabilities are very well documented (and very easy to exploit). That was one reason why we stopped supporting it. The nature of its vulnerabilities mean that no security extension can protect your site. You are a sitting duck to hackers and script kiddies.
