Joomla! 2.5.12 is not yet officially released. It seems that the release maintainer has an issue with his setup. He's already contacted me but do note that he lives in the US. It's still early a.m. over there. I am waiting for him to wake up and see what's going on.

FWIW, it seems that this only happens with specific update files on specific PHP versions. In order to help us find the issue, can you please tell me the filename reported in Admin Tools' Update Joomla! page? Just take a screenshot of the entire page.
