Description of my issue:
Hi Nicolas, my site was working perfectly. I managed to use the htaccess maker and did the necessaries to get it working after the first 500 error. Today suddenly the site went down. Hosting company says this: There is an error with the other .htaccess your site was using, now called ".htaccess-error". It appears that a plugin you may have installed, modified this file and caused it to crash your website. Do you use a plugin such as "Admin Tools 2.5.5"? If so, it was modifying your rewrite codes in the .htaccess file (now called .htaccess-error).
Please advise. Nobody made physical changes. Client only has admin rights. Thank you

I suppose that either your site changed the .htaccess Maker options (and generated a new file) or your server settings changed. The only thing you can do is go through the same trial and error path you went the first time you created the .htaccess file for your site.
