Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I searched the tickets before posting? yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? no pages found for Flexicontent
Joomla! version: 1.5.26
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.49
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you) OVH.COM
Admin Tools version: Pro-2.2.10

Description of my issue:
Hi,
I'm currently under attack on a website : robots try to find admin password.
I tried to put a master password-protect administrator to put a second level of security, but when i do this, i cannot have my item content created with flexicontent without a message "this area is restricted...".
If i cancel the box, i can have my content, but my users will not do this naturally...
Is there a solution for admin Tools and Flexicontent item view ?
Thanks for your answer,

The issue you are requesting support with is already covered in our troubleshooter and our documentation. I am not sure you actually read it. Here it is: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atadminpw.html

What a really quick support !!!!
So yes, i have read it.
But if i understand well, there is no solution for this problem as i'm not really sure that the flexicontent component will be rewrited for this... Did I understand this well ?
I was just wondering if there is another solution else than deactivate the admin protection...
Thanks :)

Yes, there is no solution other than either disabling this feature or asking the authors of FlexiContent to please not load resources from the administrator directory (which is a very insecure practice).

Ok....
I create a post on FC Forum if you want to see it :
http://www.flexicontent.org/forum/index.php?f=21&t=6478&rb_v=viewtopic
By the way, i agree with you about calling part in the admin folder... if I have a solution, i will go back here and deliver it for everybody.
Keep in touch,
Chabi01
PS : just a little note for you, i created a first subject but with the return key i validate it to early. When i tried to edit it, i have a 404 error when saving..

Yes, I already know where the error (it's actually 403, not 404) comes from when editing a reply. I have to install the update on our site :)
