Description of my issue:
For some reason I am getting double entries of my articles and Contacts in the backend but not the frontend. I have searched on the Joomla site but what I found there http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2607110 did not help me.

I tried the admin tools Fix Permissions, etc. but still no luck.

Any ideas? You have often come up with solutions!

Thanks, Tim

I have never seen this problem before. I'd try removing system and content plugins one by one to see if one of these would cause this problem. Then I'd start tracing the code, which is not for the faint of heart (or people with a business / life; it takes forever).

I think I will revert to an earlier backup. Thanks!
