Description of my issue:

After completing the .htaccess Maker, do we need to delete the .htaccess.admintools file ? Or do we just leave it there ?

It's not necessary to keep the file. It contains the previous version of your .htaccess file in case your site doesn't load at all with the new file. If your site works, you don't need that file and you can of course remove it.
