Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: (2.5.11)
PHP version: (5.3.25 )
MySQL version: (5.5.30-cll )
Admin Tools version: (2.5.5 PRO)
Akeeba backup (3.7.7 PRO)
Kickstart (3.7.0)

Description of my issue:
1. I have created a backup at the primairy domain of my site and downloaded the jpa-file.
2. I have uploaded the jpa-file to the subdomain (testsite.domain.nl)
3. I have run kickstart.php without any error.
4. When I clicked the button "View frontend of my site", it was redirected to the primairy domain.
When I will reach the subdomain it is changed to: www.testsite.domain.nl)

In your documentation I've found this part:
Redirection and SEF components and plugins

Sometimes restored websites redirect to the original site even when there is no such parameter in .htaccess and $live_site is correcty set in the configuration.php. In this case, please check if you have any SEF or redirection plugins installed, including any plugins which might be redirecting non-SSL to SSL URLs or vice-versa. Many such plugins and components store absolute URLs (URLs which include the domain name) causing wrong redirections. If this is not the case, read further down this page.

I've updated my template in the primairy domain to the latest release.
With the restore at that subdomain, I will collect the setting by forebug and copy that to the template css-files at the prim.domain.

But now i can't reach the subdomain, as i explained above.
I think it is something with the htaccess-file(s) in the backup, wich are vissible after the restore.
I've tried to upload a clean Joomla-htaccessfile.
But even with that file, the subdomain is not reachable.

Can you help me to fix this with a change of something at the subdomainfiles?
Or is there something I have to change in AdminTools before I create a backup?

Thanks for your support.
Best regards,
Wouter (WoodyF4u)

Remove the .htaccess file from the restored site. You can now log in to the back-end of your site. Go to Components, Admin Tools, .htaccess Maker. You'll see the domain name for HTTP and HTTPS, as well as the directory name, at the bottom of the page. Please change them to reflect the new location of the site. Moreover, on the same page, you may have enabled redirection of other domain names. Make sure that these settings are also correct with regard to your current domain name. Then click on Save and Create .htaccess.

Hmmm.
I have dobne what you wrote.
Reached the backend and changed the setting at the bottom of the htaccessmaker-screen.
But I am still redirected to www.test.domain.nl
In the configuration.php I've changed the two line with log and tmp to the subdomain.
But even after that i am still redirected to the "www.test" instead of "test".

Have you any idea what else I can do?
Best regards,
Wouter (WoodyF4u)

Ah, the browser cache. Darn, I usually forget about it myself. I'm glad it's all working now :)
