Joomla! version: (2.5.11)
PHP version: (5.3.25 )
MySQL version: (5.5.30-cll )
Admin Tools version: (2.5.5 PRO)
Akeeba backup (3.7.7 PRO)
Kickstart (3.7.0)
Description of my issue:
1. I have created a backup at the primairy domain of my site and downloaded the jpa-file.
2. I have uploaded the jpa-file to the subdomain (testsite.domain.nl)
3. I have run kickstart.php without any error.
4. When I clicked the button "View frontend of my site", it was redirected to the primairy domain.
When I will reach the subdomain it is changed to: www.testsite.domain.nl)
In your documentation I've found this part:
Redirection and SEF components and plugins
Sometimes restored websites redirect to the original site even when there is no such parameter in .htaccess and $live_site is correcty set in the configuration.php. In this case, please check if you have any SEF or redirection plugins installed, including any plugins which might be redirecting non-SSL to SSL URLs or vice-versa. Many such plugins and components store absolute URLs (URLs which include the domain name) causing wrong redirections. If this is not the case, read further down this page.
I've updated my template in the primairy domain to the latest release.
With the restore at that subdomain, I will collect the setting by forebug and copy that to the template css-files at the prim.domain.
But now i can't reach the subdomain, as i explained above.
I think it is something with the htaccess-file(s) in the backup, wich are vissible after the restore.
I've tried to upload a clean Joomla-htaccessfile.
But even with that file, the subdomain is not reachable.
Can you help me to fix this with a change of something at the subdomainfiles?
Or is there something I have to change in AdminTools before I create a backup?
Thanks for your support.
Best regards, Wouter (WoodyF4u)
