Description of my issue:
I've a Joomla with Akeeba Admin Tools installed behind a load balance system. Joomla/Akeeba only see the IP from the loadbalance system.

And I get my security messages look like this.

We would like to notify you that a security exception was detected on your site, XX XX, with the following details:

IP Address: 192.168.142.225 (IP Lookup: http://ip-lookup.net/index.php?ip=192.168.142.225)
Reason: template= in URL

If this kind of security exception repeats itself, please log in to your site's back-end and add this IP address to your Admin Tools's Web Application Firewall feature in order to completely block the misbehaving user.

Are there a away to get Akeeba to take IP from another field in HTTP-header? Different loadbalance system use different fields for it, so the best would to be able to put the name of the field in the setup or a configuration file.

You have a misconfigure proxy, CDN or NginX in front of your site. Please consult your host (or CDN provider, if you are using a CDN) and ask them to make sure that the visitor's IP address (and not the internal IP address) is passed to Apache. Admin Tools is capable of parsing the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header used in this case.
