Joomla! version: 2.5.11
PHP version: PHP Version 5.3.17-1byte1squeeze1
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (byte.nl)
Admin Tools version: (2.5.5)

Description of my issue:

The update mail gets send out to the email adres set in the plugin. But it also gets send to one other super users. (There are 4 super user accounts in total).

Why is this one super user gettings these mails too while the are not named (by emailaddress) in the plugin?

The mails are: the admin tools update & the admin tools Joomla update.

Checking at the code, this is not possible. What we do is that we take the email address and check if it belongs to an existing Super Administrator. If it does, it is the only email address receiving update notifications. If it doesn't belong to a Super Administrator or if it's empty then the update email is sent to all Super Administrators of the site.

There was such a bug in a much earlier version of Admin Tools. If unsure, try deleting those plugins and install Admin Tools again, without uninstalling the component itself before that. This will re-install those plugins.
