Description of my issue: I have a query regarding Akeeba subscriptions and I can not find a area for a new ticket in that support - so I have posted here.
I have set up coupon codes for the first 100 subscribers for a 50% discount. My subscriptions are set up to use paypal automatic payments so the subscription will continue on automatically. I offered the 50% discount for the first subscription not for the ongoing ones - is there a way I can change the subscription that it reverts back to the usual price when the subscription falls due.
Many thanks
Sandra

Hello Sandra,

Support for Akeeba Subscriptions is only provided to AKEEBASUBS, COMMERCE and DELUXE subscribers through the Akeeba Subscriptions section of our site. Since you do not have such a subscription you could not post to that section.

Anyway. Regarding your question, please note that recurring subscriptions are always charged the same amount, even if it's a discounted amount. As a result you can never use coupons, upgrade rules, subscription option fields or any other kind of price modifier feature with them. The only way to "fix" those recurring subscriptions is to go to PayPal's back-end, cancel those subscriptions and email your subscribers asking them to re-subscribe.

Let me reiterate what I've said many times: Recurring subscriptions are inflexible, have huge pitfalls and are NOT what you want in 99% of cases where you need a recurring subscription is a good idea.
