Description of my issue:
I tried to uninstall Admin tools...the component is not displaying anywhere however, it is working still wheni goto the site www.whatsunderneath.biz/administrator the popup still displays as if it's active.

Hi gomay,

one of the features of Admin Tools is the htaccess maker.
This feature will let you easily create an htaccess file; as you can imagine, even if you uninstall Admin Tools the .htaccess file is still here.
I suggest you to install again Admin Tools, switch off the Protect your administrator back-end with a password feature and uninstall it again.
