Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes, none matched my problem
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Searched tickets & Google
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? I have read your great documentation several times :)
Joomla! version: 2.5.9
PHP version: 5.3.19
MySQL version: 5.1.68
Host: LunarPages
Admin Tools version: 2.5.3

Description of my issue:
After upgrading Admin Tools, I normally get the post-setup page with some checkboxes. After upgrading to 2.5.3, I get this error when it tries to take me to the postsetup page:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /[root]/libraries/fof/less/less.php on line 1520

Also, when I try to access Akeeba Backup, I just get a blank white screen (in backend).

My frontend website and other third-party extensions are working OK in the backend.

I tried increasing the memory_limit directive to 64M and also reset folder/file permissions to 755/644 via FTP. Neither worked.

Any suggestions you have for fixing would be groovy!

I have ATPro 2.5.3 and AKPro 3.7.4. I don't see any versions available for download later than that. Can you send me a link to where I can download them?

In this case something wasn't updated properly. Please follow the next steps in the order given (the order matters):
  • Disable the System - System Restore Points plugin
  • Delete the folder media/akeeba_strapper from your site
  • Go to your site's back-end and reinstall either Admin Tools 2.5.3 or Akeeba Backup 3.7.4 without trying to uninstall the component first.

This should update the files which were stuck in the old version and causing this issue.
