Description of my issue:

Dear Nikolaus,

I have two issues with Admin Tools, maybe they are related? I attach the .htaccess file.

1) In the .htaccess maker i have the Redirect index.php to the site's root set to NO, but still the site will be redirected to the root without index.php, which I dont want, if I activate in Configuration URL rewrite to YES.
It shows: http://www.faakersee.net/de/
But I want: http://www.faakersee.net/index.php/de/

2) The Url redirection is not working. Is this written to the .htaccess file as well? If yes it does not show it.....
Admintools - url redirection:
I tried it with the relative URL and with http.//

existing url: http://www.faakersee.net/index.php?option=com_fabrik&view=form&formid=1&Itemid=104&lang=de

redirect: http://www.faakersee.net/index.php?option=com_fabrik&view=form&formid=7&Itemid=104&lang=de

The redirect is activated but does not work.

Thank you for your help.

1. This is not an Admin Tools issue. This is what happens when you enabled SEF URLs and Apache rewrite in Joomla's Global Configuration and you have a multilingual site. If you want all your URLs to contain index.php in them you should disable the Apache Rewrite option in your Global Configuration. Please note that this is a Joomla! configuration option, not something related to Admin Tools. If you want help regarding this Joomla! feature please ask for help on the official Joomla! forum or any localised Joomla! support forum. I can only provide support for my own software.

2. No, the redirections are handled by the System - Admin Tools plugin and are not written in .htaccess. However you cannot redirect between non-SEF URLs of from a non-SEF URL to a SEF URL. It is a limitation of our URL rewriting feature which cannot be lifted (it would break SEF URL rewriting which is what 99% of our users want to use it with).
