Mandatory information about my setup:

Joomla! version: 2.5.9
PHP version: (5.3.15)
MySQL version: (5.1.68)

Admin Tools version: (2.5.2)

Description of my issue:

Hello,

May I ask 2 questions:

1. On one of my AdminTools installations, in /logs/ I see admintools_breaches.log which seems to correspond to the exceptions log on the back end. Although on another similar Joomla installation with Admin Tools, nothing appears in /logs, though the backend log is recording activity. Can you suggest why this might be happening - that is the failure to record admintools_breaches.log in /logs
2. Is there any way to purge large exception logs quickly, rather than viewing all items in backend and deleting?

Jordan

Sorry Nick,

Please ignore question 1. Wrong log path in Joomla config.

Please see only question 2.

The fastest way to delete all log entries is using phpMyAdmin to empty the table. Yes, I know, it's not very user friendly. There's also an option in the System - Admin Tools plugin to automatically purge old log entries and only keep the latest X ones (where X is configurable). I suggest that you use that option. It seems to be what you really have in mind, assuming that my mind-reading skills work :)

OK, thanks Nick.

Both will work.
