Joomla! version: (2.5.9)
PHP version: (5.3.21)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: (2.5.2)

Description of my issue:

hello
I have some conficts with admin tools pro. 2.4.4.
In backend, when I click on the menu: Site /global Configuration/ I get :
"You do not have permission to access this functionality" in 20 copies. But the configuration panel is displayed anyway. If I click on the other tabs, it's the same sentence and I have access to configurations.
Sometimes handling whatever I do, I get the same error.

In the  /user management/superuser/edit profile, simply click on the icon "close" I get an error:
403 - An error has occurred. Restricted Access:

Also, I had the same problem that:  ticket : # 15207 - This web page HAS redirect loop.
I installed in admin tools.2.5.2 and I have access to the Control Panel, of admin tools. Great!

I put a password (master password) to access to web application firewall
when I click on the icon "web application firewall", I go directly to applications, no password is asked me.

I uninstalled admin toolspro.2.5.2, now I have no more error in backend : "You do not have permission to access this functionality" or 403 - An error has occurred. Restricted Access
well I would like to use admin toolspro.2.5.2
Thank you for your answer

If you have uninstalled Admin Tools, how can the uninstalled and no longer present Admin Tools interfere with your site's functionality? I'm confused.

hello
I uninstalled Admin Tools because it was impossible to modifie the superuser profil in joomla. (the Time Zone, for example)

The probleme I got ( # 15207 - This web page HAS redirect loop)  is solved with install Admin Tools version 2.5.2 . Ok

For the error message, I made a lot of test .........

In fact, I get a error message, whith Admin Tools is installed, when I go to :
/user manager/superuser/edit profile. Simple click on the icon "close" I get an error:
403 - An error has occurred. Restricted Access.  Call stack....
See the text of the error my in first post above.

So this is what I did.

1- without admin tools pro 2.5 = no error message in joomla.Everything going well !

2 install admin tools pro 2.5  with no setting and no .htaccess

3- I created a password (master password) to access to web application firewall.
No error message if I modifie superuser profil, at this point.
I close  web browser and cache clean
Open  web browser (firefox 19)
to  Control Panel, of admin tools.
I click on the icon "web application firewall", I go directly to applications, no password is asked me. (strange). Any way, at this point no error message .

4-I go to : web application firewall/Configure.
I am just looking the différents options . No modification, back button  and  Back button again to come back to Control Panel.

no error message if I modifie superuser profil.

5-Again I go to : web application firewall/Configure. I modified the line (for example):
"Email this address on security exceptions " : I just added my address mail.
Saved et close button  and  Back button again to comme back to Control Panel.

I go, to : /user manager/superuser/edit profile
I get ERROR message when I modifie the superuser profil in joomla control panel

I hope that it'll help you.

Wrong move. See https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atspecialusers.html

For the error message, I made a lot of test...

...when all you had to do is read the documentation or consult the troubleshooter page on this site ;) Really, don't waste your time doing tests. There's a 99% chance of what you're looking for being already documented. I mean, you've seen the size of my documentation. It's not just big, it's searchable, too! Please try that next time, it will save you a lot of time and frustration.

For this you have to install the latest dev release. It's a known issue.
