Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: Server version: 5.0.96-log
MySQL version: 5.0
Host: godaddy.com
Admin Tools version: 2.4.4

Description of my issue:

1. Today I had installed Akeeba Admin Tools 2.4.4 and then upgraded Akeeba Backup to 3.7.1. After that I logged out.

2. When I give joomla backend URL for login into admin I got a blank page. After searching existing tickets I found one ticket #9262 and subsequent to this renamed plugins/system/admintools.php.

3. Now the backend started appearing. But after I give admin user/password then again a white blank screen appears and I can't see admin panel.

4. Upon further search I found the closest match to ticket # 12233, but the fix there was renaming akadmin.php file. I couldn't find this file and hence the issue still exists.

5. I checked the joomla log file but there are no issues there.

Please help since I am unable to see admin panel and its a showstopper issue for me.

Cheers!

Kabeer

Hello Nicolas

I have followed every steps which was specified in the link. I can access backend admin login form but after login the blank still still appears. I am unable to see the admin panel. Please help.

How is that possible? If you really do follow EVERY step in these instructions you are no longer loading any of our software on your site. If you still get a 500 error and you are COMPLETELY SURE you have followed EVERY single instruction then your problem is not related to our software. If you insist that the problem is caused by our software please re-read the instructions and follow them to the very last detail.

I just rechecked the steps again and realized that I missed the step of deleting plugins/quickicon/atoolsjupdatecheck. I can now see admin panel.

Its a great relief now and I will now proceed to continue on rest of the steps for installation of akeeba products and joomla upgrade.

Cheers!
