since today I get every minutes a message that a new release is available...
But I have installed the newest (it was not possible doing this by backend update!!!)

Did you try renewing the information? This could solve the problem.
As for the problem with the Live Updater, Nicholas will look into this soon. He's having problems with his internet connection but will (hopefully) be back shortly.
