Description of my issue:

Im building a hikashop site. i have installed hikashop fresh and locked it down.  changed admin url, passcode protected admin tools pro also.

when i type in the adjusted backend url.... /administrator?xxxx  a popup window asks me for a passcode.... it says will be unencrypted.

knowing that i added a second passcode to the admin access, i typed in my admin tools passcode and the popup disappeard and i was able to access the joomla admin login page.  i typed in the passcode made for the joomla login and i am inside the site.

went to admin tools pro, and i was asked for my admin tools pro passcode, again.

somehow, i dont think that popup window was legitimate. or is it?

is my site being hacked again?  is that spywear on my computer?  i dont see any security breach logs...  if indeed im being messed with, these pesky hackers are wild!  all i did was install hikashop and immediately lock the site down - havent uploaded any products or adjusted any settings yet, and already my site has been targeted?

is this popup apart of admin pro? or is this spywear. if it is a threat, how do i know if it is inside my site yet?  i dont want to waste time building this site if its already been breached.... its hard to dig those guys out!

what do i do..

Update...

Sophos scanned my mac and found no threats.

If the dialog box asks you for a username and password and you have used Admin Tools' Administrator Password Protection feature then you don't have a problem. Your site is doing what you asked it to do through Admin Tools.

If it's not what you get, I have no idea.
