Description of my issue: I keep on getting these kind of errors from different ips and different username and password "IP Address: 218.93.127.117 (IP Lookup: http://ip-lookup.net/index.php?ip=218.93.127.117)
Reason: Login failure (Username: Fiepecleact -- Password: 29zsvsqZ3Z)

cleardot.gif" When I checked user manager, there are no accounts with such names. Might these be some attackes?   Also " IP Address: 173.44.37.226 (IP Lookup: http://ip-lookup.net/index.php?ip=173.44.37.226) Reason: CSRF Shield" Infact for one of my site, I have received around 200 "CSRF Shield" exceptions in last 24 hours. Is it wise to disable that option

Yes, it looks like someone is trying random usernames and passwords. If you have set up the automatic IP block they will also get automatically blocked so there is nothing to worry about.

I need to know the Target URL as well before I can answer that question within any degree of accuracy :)

You just replied it yourself. The CSRFShield security exceptions were raised by spam bots which tried using a very crude way to post spam comments on your site. The rest of the spam comments were those submitted by humans (you can rent a human spammer for as low as 0.01$ per message – sad, but true) or more sophisticated, purpose built spam bots. These are legitimate security exceptions so you'd better leave that feature turned on on your site.
