Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes, could not find the same error
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? yes, the section on automatic instalation and manual
Joomla! version: 1.5.26
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.0.96-community
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: 2.2.10-core

Description of my issue:

Wen I install Admin Tools automatic I get error massage : (Waarschuwing! - Verplaatsen bestand mislukt) Translated: Warning - could not move file.      joomla error-style

When I install manual i get error message on a blank screen : Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/XXX/public_html/administrator/components/com_admintools/install.admintools.php on line 469

(Some?) files are copied, (some?) tabels are made in MySQL (empy ?)

In the pulldown menu 'Components' appears COM_ADMINTOOLS without icon. When i click on it I get a blank screen showing "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/XXX/public_html/administrator/components/com_admintools/admintools.php on line 148"

Looking forward to your response !

There's no way you have PHP 5.2.17 and get the error you mention. Just to be sure, I just installed a PHP 5.2.17 server using MAMP, created a new Joomla! 1.5.26 site and installed Admin Tools Professional 2.2.10 on it. No problem whatsoever. I'm pretty sure that your PHP version is something much older than that. Go to your site's back-end, Help, System Info, click on PHP Information and read the PHP version written in bold, blue, big letters right under the big PHP logo. What does it read?

You where correct, the server is running PHP 5.2.17 but the site wasn't running on that version.

Still have a problem, but I suppose it is not Admintools related

It was not possible to copy the selected file.
JInstaller::install: Failed to copy file: /home/krisa/public_html/tmp/install_511373cd9ebb4/frontend/admintools.php to /home/krisa/public_html/components/com_admintools/admintools.php

The created folders have 99 99 as owner.

I will check the joomla forum for that !

If memory serves, 99 is the default UID and GID for the nobody user on Red Hat (and CentOS) systems. (a quick Google search later) Yes, I remembered correctly :) Your folders are owned by nobody:nogroup, the default user and group under which Apache runs. You can always try using Joomla!'s FTP options in the Global Configuration to work around such permission/ownership issues.

While you are at it, educate yourself on users, groups, ownership and permissions. I've written an entire documentaiton section in Akeeba Backup User's Guide (the aptly named Security Information chapter). Feel free to read it a few times. It's a fundamental piece of knowledge when you're administering a site on a Linux (or any other UNIX-derivative OS) server.
