Description of my issue:

 

I am running into a GEOip error when I try to use my Event Booking component and ned to know how I can fix this error!

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare geoip_load_shared_mem() (previously declared in /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_admintools/helpers/geoip.php:236) in /home/mysite/public_html/geolocation/geoip.inc on line 258

 

Everytime one of my members go to join an event then pay for it they get this error! I have placed an WAF Exceptions for my Event Booking COmponent after AT blocked it.   So whatever is happening AT seem to be at the heart of it.

This is not an issue in Admin Tools but in another extension(?). I can see that the file in question is /home/mysite/public_html/geolocation/geoip.inc. This file is not in a standard Joomla! location and I can't tell you which extension it is. It is, however, doing something stupid: it loads geoip.inc without checking if it's already loaded. Admin Tools does this check, but since it loads first it correctly determines that it hasn't been loaded and, well, loads it in order for its GeoIP features (from GeoBlock to security logging) to work! Please find the developer of the other extension or whoever put that file on your site and ask him to do the smart thing and actually check if geoip.php is loaded before trying to reload it.

Damn you are fast!

 

And I found the problem after posting!  Check the file and there is no if statement in it.  I am going to send them a support ticket now!   just when I think we are ready to launch I run into this! I quess thats how the internet works....
