bfahy

this is actually a general question that i would have placed in a forum post if i could find one here :P

I have several installs of admintoolspro and have geo block turned on for one of them. in this site i've been noticing ips being geoblocked with urls such as the following:

http://www.inwww.mydomain.com

So here's my question. is this some sort of loop hole where people can get some sort of benefit or access by including part of another website domain or just random text within their url as they access the site?

I haven't been able to find anything about this....

Most likely it's a broken hacking script producing invalid URLs. There is no guarantee that arbitrary subdomain names will resolve to an actual site and certianly do not grant you any special privileges.
