Description of my issue:

I suddenly developed a problem with bad behavior from my ip.  I would log in, do some things, then would not be able to navigate around the back end.  Email came indicating problems with behavior at my ip.  I followed the instructions in the email and got going again.  I set my ip as a permenant white list in the configuration page.  However I am still getting this message:

Bad Behaviour (POST more than two days after GET)

Do you know what the issue is?

thanks

Either your computer's or your server's clock has been de-synchronised. First try to synchronise your computer's clock (fix the date and time so that it reflects the current date and time in your timezone). If that fails, please contact your host and ask them to check their server's clock.

allright

I put in a request to siteground, and they assure me that their server is on the correct time.  Unless there is something in the background on my computer that is really whacky, the time here is correct.

I just received another bad behavior message, this one from another ip address.  From 70.193.197.105

Does this shed any additional information?

thanks

The only other explanation is that there is a braindead proxy between your computer and your host, modifying the headers of the request and make them point into the distant past or the far future. The other IP address you got tells me that the other party is coming through Verizon wireless, making it very likely that they are subjected to such a braindead proxy.

This is very strange to me.  You refer to "braindead proxy", and when I google the term I don't get much help.  Is this something I should be concerned about?  I am using ATT U-verse internet, is there something there that I should check out?

This sounds like a serious issue,, true?

When I say braindead proxy I am not referring to some kind of jargon, I am saying this as in "this guy's braindead or something; he fell into the manhole feet first to see if it's deep enough". You get the picture. You could have also clicked on the link to the error message explanation in Admin Tools' back-end (Security Exceptions Log) or, since you used Google, you could have searched the error message to find out more information ;) What most likely happens is, as I said, "there is a proxy between your computer and your host, modifying the headers of the request and make them point into the distant past or the far future". Unless you contact your ISP you can't know if that's the case.
