Description of my issue:
When I create a file in '.htaccess maker' it removes the photos in the sigplus galleries on my site. When I delete the .htaccess file in the server the photos reappear. Is there a setting I need to make in the .htaccess maker that will not remove the photos from my galleries?

No file is removed. Let me guess what you actually mean: the images (which do exist on the server) are not displayed on the page after applying a .htaccess file. Please consult this page: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/athtaccessexceptions.html

No problem. Your issue is quite common, making it an easy guess even for a lousy guesser like me ;) If you get stuck feel free to post back.
