Mandatory information about my setup:

Joomla! version: 2.5.8
PHP version: 5.3.15
MySQL version: 5.5.23-55
Host: HostGator
Admin Tools version: 2.4.0

Description of my issue:

I am using the option to secure all links on my page so that my page shows as secure everywhere. However, I want to put a link on my main page to an example in a sub-domain, which is not covered by my SSL certificate.

Is it possible to create some kind of rule to allow certain links NOT to go to https when clicked? Can't have people seeing a nasty red page saying this might not be the site they are looking for!

Thanks!

Hi Kray,

You shouldn't use Admin Tools' feature for this kind of setup. Go into your Global Configuration and set SSL to all pages. Then disable Admin Tools' HTTPS-izer feature and you're set.
