Description of my issue:
I have enabled the 'live update settings / stable' to indicate when there is an updated version of Joomla.
Ever since I have enabled it I have been getting regular emails about a Joomla 2.5.7 update.
During the day I will receive around half-a-dozen but while I'm in the administrator area & working with Admin Tools, I start receiving them constantly (up to one every minute).
Is there I way where I can set it to only notify me once a week?

Not sure if this is related to the issue however in the email it leaves out the number of the current version:
Joomla! version currently installed:
Joomla! version available for installation: 2.5.7

No, you cannot change the frequency of the email. It is nagging you every 6-8 hours (depending on your site's traffic) because it's of paramount importance that you update your site a.s.a.p. Not upgrading is a major security issue.

Regarding the currently installed version not showing, I'll have to look into it.
