PHP Warnings on PHP File scan page(see image)

These go away when you run your first scan. I can't really fix them, they come from Joomla!'s database code. The fix would require doubling the queries needed for each page of the component, hardly a proper solution :(

Also can't change settings in htaccess maker. Checked file permissions and it's 644.

Do you get an error message saving the file or something else?

Thanks for V Quick reply Nicholas,

I thought I should try a scan but it just seems to go on too long and in the end I've cancelled it, I'll leave it this time. I did do a permissions repair, so maybe that will help.

As for the .htaccess maker, I should have said about behaviour....no error, nothing, just stays on config screen.

I do think think this is just restricted to one site...I don't have this on any other site, I just can't figure out what the difference could be.

It was a clean Joomla 2.5.4 install with a couple of upgrades and only a few components installed. Still very much in early build stages

This is something I can't reproduce on another site. This sounds like a Javascript error – after all nothing is submitted and it stays on the page without reloading anything. The thing is, this particular page (the .htaccess Scanner configuration) doesn't use any Javascript code by yours truly. We only use core Joomla! code. What happens on your site is a mystery, I am afraid.

All fixed. Delete all files and rebuild site from scratch.
Seemed like a quicker process that trying to find the needle.

After rebuild no errors in PHP file scanning screen and file scan took about 20 secs...
Htaccess makers works as expected.

That's interesting. Seems like something was very broken on the old site. I'm glad that's fixed now!
