Description of my issue:

Can I leave the Configure WAF field empty for: "Email this address on security exceptions"

I'm getting too many email security alerts since I have China GeoBlocked. I just don't know if leaving that email field empty will create any problems with the server/site.
I don't know but I was wondering if it's something like emails trying to be sent and using memory on the server, kind of like an endless loop.

Thanks for any advice!

Hi Guy,

Yes, you can leave the email field blank, but you will stop getting any emails at all. I have a fix for your issue, though. I wrote some code yesterday which turns off logging of GeoBlock as a security exception. This means that GeoBlocked access attempts are no longer listed in the Security Exceptions Log and, of course, no emails are sent about them.

If you want to test this, please download and install the latest dev release of the component. It's actually very stable right now.
