MySQL version: (unknown)

Admin Tools version: 2.4.0

Description of my issue:

Hi, I installed JCE editor with JCE image plugin en MeidaBox. Goals is to get a popup of an thmubnail image. Thsi seems to work fine, but when I click on the popup impage a new browser tab opens with an error:

Forbidden - You don't have permission to access /images/beeld_rechts/01.jpg&img=images/beeld_rechts/01.jpg&title= on this server.

On the website in the 'original ' tab the popup dit open and the image is showing OK. So why is there another tab opend with an error message?

De code in the page:

I tried the same thin on a site whrere AdminTools have not been installed yet. I do net get this error there. I also tried turning of sh404sef, but that did not solve the error.

Could you give me any indication where to lok to solve this problem?

Related to this: Is I want to unistall AdminTools form this site (to test if that solves the problem) can I just uninstall it from the extension manager? Will this resore the .htaccess of the site so I won't have any problems login in?

Mmm, I can't edit my post... I get a white screen.

To see my problem:
http://www.kfz.studio135.nl/foto-s.html

Just click on the thumbnail image and see what happens.

The code is stripped from my post... But you can see this in the page source.

The image URL is invalid. It should probably read /images/beeld_rechts/01.jpg?img=images/beeld_rechts/01.jpg&title= or /images/beeld_rechts/01.jpg. For what is worth, the image does open in a popup, but it also launches a new browser tab with the error. This looks like bad Javascript. Make sure that you have upgraded JCE and JCE MediaBox to the latest versions. If the problem persists, please contact Ryan (JCE's developer).

Hi Nicolas, thanks. The thin is, I also tried this on an other site and I do not get this error there. (Same versions, all latest). On this site AdminTools is not installed. So that's why I thought maybe that caused a problem.

But I just posted also the question on the JCE forum. So we'll see if I get a response there.

Another question entirely (...): Do you know if it is possible to use a cron-job with cli php to a php file with get parameters? For expample a cron to start file.php?var1=1&var2=2. For Akeeba backup you prvided an exelent solution for this, but for another tool I would also like to use cli php because I get time-out errors when I use wget...

I would not blame you if consider this question 'out of order' here ;-)

Let's make sure that the problem is indeed caused by Admin Tools. In order to do so, try the following:

1. Try setting the Error Reporting level in your Global Configuration to "None". Many errors are caused by harmless PHP Notices and Warnings being output to the browser, breaking anything which requires HTTP header manipulation such as Joomla!'s session management, AJAX calls and download systems.

2. Try to replicate the issue after disabling the "System - Admin Tools" plugin. If you can still replicate the issue, it is not caused by Admin Tools. Disabling that plugin means that Admin Tools code (including the Web Application Firewall) is not running on your site.

3. If you suspect an issue with the .htaccess file, replace its contents with the contents of the stock htaccess.txt file shipped with every version of Joomla!. If you are on GoDaddy please wait for 1-30 minutes for the changes to be effective. Then, retry loading the problem page. If you can still reproduce the error, then it is not caused by .htaccess Maker.

If doing any of the above resulted in the issue still occurring, it's not related with Admin Tools and I can't help you. If doing any of the above did stop the issue from occurring, we'll have to do some troubleshooting.

First go to Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Configure WAF. Make sure "Log security exceptions" is set to Yes; if it's not, set it to Yes and click on Save. Now try reproducing your issue. Immediately after that, please go to Admin Tools, Web Application Firewall, Security Exceptions Log and go to the last page. The last log entry should have the date and time of when the issue occurred. Please copy the Reason and Target URL here so that I can help you.

If, however, you do not see a log entry, or the Date and/or IP address do not match your last access, this problem is not caused by Admin Tools' WAF. In this case, you will have to do some .htaccess troubleshooting. You may need to read the general .htaccess troubleshooting page, as well as the page on finding out necessary .htaccess exceptions.

Hi Nicolas.

Thank for your troubleshooting tips. I tried everything and it seems AdminTools is nog causing the problem. So I guess I'll wait and see what I get from the JCE forum post. Thanks for your help again!

Hi Nicolas, just to let you know: I reinstalled the JCE plugins and added a new test image. Now it works fine... So maybe the link itself (in the article) somehow got corrupted.
