Description of my issue:
We're experiencing server instability and see this error in the log files...

[error] [client 93.160.60.22] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: viewName in <ServerPath>/administrator/components/com_admintools/dispatcher.php on line 49

The client IP is constantly throwing this error which causes our web server to stall; we've tried to block the ip via the component blacklisting feature to avoid these errors but this has not worked.

Can you provide any insight into this issue?

This is a notice, not an error. You should turn your server PHP error reporting down a notch to E_ALL instead of E_ALL | E_NOTICE which seems to be currently set. Most likely you can go to Joomla!'s Global Configuration and set the Error Reporting to "None".

Furthermore, since this is a simple Notice (not even a warning, let alone an error!), I don't see how it can possibly be linked to server instability and crashing your server. A notice is a very low priority warning which can be ignored.
