Description of my issue:
Ticket no. 13241 referred.
I downloaded the file that identifies the country, into Admin Tools, after reading about it here somewhere and I remember doing something else but had forgotten what it was - changed some setting that looked harmless enough to change and subsequently was refused permission to enter again.
I left everything and went to a J-day and returned 5 days later and tried to get into my site again, and lo and behold, was allowed - I assumed that Admin Tools had thought about it, inspected it self and decided we can go ahead.
I worked a few days on touching up the template in Artisteer, and installed the template in localhost - no problem. I downloaded AcyMailing and installed it on localhost - again no problem.
I then uninstalled the template in the site and uploaded first AcyMailing, saw that there was something not as it was in localhost, you know all green stuff to show that everything is fine, but went ahead to also install the template and activate it. During each of these uploads Admin Tools did its System Restore Point thing, but I think that the restore point is already corrupted - but what do I know? Hah!
No template.
I have since manually updated Admin Tools
Uninstalled Admin Tools.
Re-installed Admin Tools - using 2.3.2, which was ignored by the system, which told me that 2.3.1 was installed and i had to update to 2.3.2, which I then duly did.
Still no template.
Can you please help me with this? What am I to do? My feeling is that I should set Admin Tools to a default initial condition, have it rewrite all that it writes, and then maybe will it work well again - IF Admin Tools is the problem.

Hm, I'm not sure what you want me to help you with. One thing is for certain. Admin Tools does not have a restore points feature. Akeeba Backup does have such a feature. You're either referring to Akeeba Backup or a completely different issue that the one I have understood. Can you elaborate, please?

Well first of all, please help me identify the problem, please.

OK, first of all: Admin Tools has nothing to do with the problem.

Akeeba Backup enables a plugin called "System - System Restore Points". I guess that you have PHP 5.2 and I also guess that you have Akeeba backup 3.6.0 (or a failed update to 3.6.1 or later) which had a bug: the System Restore Points feature didn't work on PHP 5.2. If my guesses are correct you can simply disable that plugin and install AcyMailing.

Please note that I can not be sure that I have given you a correct workaround because I had to do two guesses. There is a chance that I have not understood the problem correctly. My guesses are based on the premise that the System Restore Point didn't work, therefore AcyMailing wasn't installed. If this is not the problem, please try helping me understand what the problem is. Thanks!
