Hi,

I just bought Admin Tools Pro today so I haven't yet read a lot of the documentation and help/install pages. I installed the extension and did the first page of settings as mentioned in the documentation at
https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/admin-tools/ch01s04.html

Now I can't log into my site and the site backend is a blank page with a message like:
"You are a spammer, hacker or a bad person"

I searched this forum search box for that phrase and got no results so I'm posting this ticket. I did delete the .htaccess file created by Admin Tools Pro on the install page instructions. Then I uploaded my prior .htaccess file via FTP to my site and I still can't login. Yes, I am using the Administrator secret URL parameter for the site backend login.

So I'm sure this is a common problem issue with the install of Admin Tools Pro and you probably can give me an easy solution for this problem. Yes, I could read through ALL the documentation to find out all the possible solutions and issues that come up with a new installation. But since I really don't have time for my site to be offline for a day while I go through all the documentation, please let me know what I should do to fix this problem and finish the Admin Tools Pro installation.

Thanks for any advice!

I am not sure why you closed the ticket. Perhaps you found the solution yourself? In any case, at least for the benefit of future searches, the troubleshooting procedure is laid out here: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/atwafissues.html

Since you got blocked due to the administrator secret URL parameter, I'd suggest using a URL like http://www.example.com/administrator/index.php?yourSecretWord instead of http://www.example.com/administrator?yourSecretWord. This is a workaround to a common server limitation.
