Mandatory information about my setup:

Description of my issue: Last night some IP (70.167.46.166) claiming to be Bingbot tried to get administator/index.php over 1000 times. Suspicious at least but the reason of the security exception puzzles me even more.... "Admin IP whitelist" ?
The only IP on the whitelist is my own and why does Admin Tools give Admin IP whitelist as reason of the security exception?

The security exception "Admin IP Whitelist" means that someone tried to access your administrator section but his IP is not in the Administrator IP Whitelist. I could have probably written that as "IP of visitor who tried to access your administrator page was not found in your Administrator IP Whitelist" but it would be way too long for the back-end Security Exceptions Log page :)

It's not unheard of that a search engine tries to access such a URL. It may have indexed Joomla!'s sample content on your site, which includes a link to your administrator directory, or someone put such a link on their site for whatever purpose.

I would suggest "Not on admin IP whitelist"

And IP 70.167.46.166 is not one of Bingbot it belongs to cox.net

All the log reasons are set to the same name as the configuration option which activates this kind of filtering. The idea is to make it easier for you to search the reason in the documentation.
