Description of my issue: I have the same problem with download ID warning, I have followed the intsructions and inserted my id but the warning is still there.
This may not seem to be a problem BUT it gives th eimpression to the client we have not done something important to do with updating the site. Is there a fix for this or at least a way to remove the nasty yellow and red warning?

I can't replicate this issue with Admin Tools Professional. Yes, it's a bug in the Core release, but not in the Professional release. If you have entered a valid Download ID, the Professional release does not complain nay more. What does the title of the component's control panel page read? "Admin Tools Core" or "Admin Tools Professional"?

It says Admin Tools Core but I have a professional subscription.
How do I update this to remove the message?
Will the bug be fixed in the next Core release?

OK, you are using the wrong version. Please go to our Download page and download Akeeba Backup Professional. Then install it twice on your site, without uninstalling the Core version. This means go to Extensions, Install/Uninstall and use the Browse button to select the professional version's ZIP file. Click on Upload and Install. Then do the same thing again (this is important). This message should have now gone away, as long as you have followed the instructions to enter your Download ID.
