PHP version: (5.3.10)
MySQL version: (5.1.61-0+squeeze1 )

Admin Tools version: (2.2.8)

Description of my issue:

Hi
On my website i have Admin Tools showing the wrong version number

Your version 2.5.5
Latest version 2.5.4
Status UPDATE FOUND

What goes wrong and can i do anything to help it out?

Just wait for 6 hours. After that the update cache of Admin Tools will expire, the new version will be reread from Joomla!'s download servers and it will tell you that you are up to date.
