Description of my issue:
Hi, just purchased ATPRO.
Have inherited a site that is still running Joomla 1.5.15 (separate installs in 3 subdirectories for different language versions).
Can you confirm if:
1. any issues with updating each from within their subdirectories
2. once updated to 1.5.26, can ATPRO also deal with update to Joomla 2.5.x?
May also be worthwhile if you reply to following forum thread for others to know and get you more sales :-)

I also bought AKEEBAPRO if that helps with the above.
Many thanks

Hi Vince,

1. You can upgrade sites in subdirectories, no known issues exist. Actually, half of my testing sites are in subdirectories so it's well tested, too!

2. No, Joomla! 1.5 to 2.5 is not an update, it's a migration. You need jUpgrade or SP Upgrade and lots of patience.

Regarding the thread, I don't think I will get much sales from that feature :) Admin Tools' Joomla! Updater is also present and fully functional in the free-of-charge Core release of the component. We've even implemented it in Joomla! itself as of Joomla! 2.5.4 (it's the Joomla! Update component).

Aha, but the free version is not as good as the PRO :-)

Anyhow, thanks for quick response.

For now I suppose I'll just undertake updating all 3 sites to 1.5.26 and hope the 1.5.x branch is maintained for a little longer.

Looking forward to also using your new cloud backup :-)

You're welcome, Vince!

Joomla! 1.5 goes end of life on September 1st, 2012. It was supposed to go EOL on April 1st, but the Joomla! project gave it a lease of life so that everyone has the chance to update. After September 1st you can safely assume that your Joomla! 1.5 sites sill become vulnerable and ultimately get hacked at some point in the not so distant future.
