Description of my issue:
I am receiving error: JTableMenu: :_getNode Failed - Error building Admin Menus

The error started occurring when I tried to upload Admin Tools Pro to my Joomla 2.5.4 site at www.kdepp.com/mcah. This site is a migrated version of my Joomla 1.5.26 site at www.mcanimalhospital.com

The new Joomla 2.5.4 version will be installed at www.mcanimalhospital.com after I work all the bugs out.

I installed Admin Tools Pro on the 1.5 version then tried to install on the 2.5 version and received errors.

I have found that this error is common when migrating joomla 1.5 to 2.5 and the cause is a missing ID=1 menu item. I have corrected that issue, but am still getting this error.

This is a known Joomla! extensions installer bug. I have already documented its workaround in our installation troubleshooting page under the "Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5 installation problems" header. This is all I can do. You can always pester the bug squad to fix it. I was hoping that I would have some time to contribute a patch, but this seems to be completely out of the question for the foreseeable future. Besides, last time I tried to submit a patch for this issue it was rejected.

thanks, Yes I had already done your workaround to no avail. Was hoping for a more complete solution.

Unfortunately there is no solution at this moment :( You wouldn't know how many clients with the same problem across different components I have every week.
