Description of my issue:
Hi,
i have a simple question, its possible to block download managers (eg. IDM) using AdminTools? Iam using a webplayer to play videos located on my server through joomla, but the download managers can catch the adress and allow direc download.

You can do so by using Admin Tools' .htaccess Maker and its user agent blocking feature. All you need to do is assemble a list of the user agents of all of the download managers you want to block. You can see some of the most common download managers in the default list shipped with Admin Tools.

thank you for your very fast reply. But, one more question, any hint\way how to get the list of the user agents used? Is there any way to get this information?

I will tell you how I got the information for mine: I used Google :) For example, let's search "idm user agent" to get a reply for your original question. So it seems that IDM can't be blocked because it uses the same UA string as the browser.

yes, i used google too and found something similar, that its impossible to block it, but still i thought there is a way. Anyway, thank you for your reply and help.
