#12318 htaccess maker don’t give a 301 permanent redirect?

Curiously I don’t get a 301 clean redirect?

Unless your server software reports itself as Apache 2.2, you get a 302 redirection. This is a limitation of older versions of Apache. If we try enabling the 301 redirections, the old Apache versions will throw a blank page. If your web server is Apache 2.2 but doesn't report so, tough luck. Admin Tools always try to play it safe and uses 302 redirections in this case.

Apache 2.2.22 with Bluehost

I guess their software doesn’t report apache 2.2, curious Bluehost is not a small operation....

I will put the 301 Myself...
