Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: 5.3.5
MySQL version: 5.1.54
Host: Mediatemple
Admin Tools version: 2.2.5

Description of my issue:
Yesterday I updated to the newest version of Admin Tools, and noticed our Joomla stopped sending emails. I realize this could be one of several different issues, but noticed another similar ticket that was posted.

We're using PHP Mail and both Joomla System and our RSForm emails aren't being sent. Our company uses these forms for all our project requests, so I'm checking all options. Again this may have nothing to do with Akeeba, but I wanted to see if there was a new setting I had missed or something.

I'm checking with our hosting to see if there has been any email blocks.

thanks for any input.

I have no reason to believe that Admin Tools and email issues are connected in a relationship of cause and effect where Admin Tools is the cause. I've been enabling Admin Tools' email features on all of my test and live sites today, triggering them and checking if the email was sent (I was investigating the same ticket you came across). In 100% of the test cases, the email was sent. These are numerous sites, Joomla! 1.5.26 and 2.5.4, hosted on different versions of PHP and Apache (one is even using IIS, God forbid!), running on Mac OS X, different flavours of Linux (Ubuntu Linux, Ubuntu Server and Mandriva) and Windows.

In any case, you can test if Admin Tools is interfering by trying to disable the "System - Admin Tools" plugin.

Thank you for the quick response and checking into it. I didn't think about the ability to just turn off the plugin to test. After doing so the problem did continue. Thanks for your help, that's something I'll be able to use in the future.
