#12017 Notification email not working

Description of my issue:
Back-end notification email not working for me. I check normal email sending by create a new user and receive welcome email. Does this mean email system work? But I set email in admintools configuration and it never send me the notification email.

(Same problem for akeeba backup 3.4.3)

I backup site and restore on another server which use PHP 5.2.17. With same setting, it works. Then I think problem maybe is PHP version or Server setting?

Any hints and suggestion?

Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup use Joomla!'s own JMail API to send emails. The same thing used by Joomla!'s com_users when creating a new user. Maybe some emails end up in your spam folder?
