Admin Tools version: 2.2.5

Description of my issue:
I am unable to get any joomla updates or admin tools updates at the moment (they have worked up until now). I checked with my hosting company and they are saying they can't ping your update site and that you have a "upstream peering" problem.

Your views?

Well, cdn.akeebabackup.com can't be pinged as it's hosted by Amazon CloudFront. They can of course do a
host cdn.akeebabackup.com
from their server to get a list of all IPs they have to open in their firewall. Please note that since this is a CDN, the list of IPs on each location is different. The IPs visible from, say, Athens, Greece and Athens, USA will be completely different, that's why I say that your host has to run that command on the server.

My host says they have no issues but want to help get this resolved. Can you tell me what report or command you'd like them to run to pinpoint the problem? They're doing a traceroute now...

Sorry, but I can't do network troubleshooting between your host's server and Amazon's servers. All I can do is tell you that Amazon CloudFront, the CDN hosting our updates, is fully operational right now, at least from the three different locations I have access to and can check.
