Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? NA
Have I searched the tickets before posting? No (not relevant)
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.56
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)HOSTGATOR
Admin Tools version: 2.2.5

Description of my issue:
Hi
I have noticed that when updating the component via the mailed updatelink it will not notify me again of any updates until I have been in on every site and
1) Started admin tool
2) Hit Apply to the questions about getting notified of updates to admin tools and Joomla - again.

I already did apply these settings in 2.2.3 why also the need to apply again for 2.2.4 and 2.2.5?
If that is by design I guess it is no big advantage to have the link in the notification mail … unless you of course hit BACK and apply again in that stage ...
Could these settings not be remembered by the component?
I mean I have choosen that options to start with and that means that I want it for all the future updates as well.

The post-installation page appears after the installation of each new version of Admin Tools. The settings are remembered by the component (that's how it pre-populates the checkboxes). In fact, they are remembered by Joomla!, not the component itself.

Well I just wondered why I did not get any notifications when there where updates for 2.2.4 and 2.2.5? And It has worked so I figured that this was the reason - and I would have to reapply again ...

Normally you just need some traffic (10-20 requests every day) and wait up to 24 hours after the release to be notified.

Ok. I will watch it closely from 2.2.5 onwards
