Hey Nicholas,

Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (Multiple)? No
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (Multiple)? No
Joomla! version: (1.7x)
PHP version: (5.28)
MySQL version: (5.1.30)
Host: (lodalhost, my desktop)
Admin Tools version: (latest as of today)

Description of my issue:
I'm building a new site. I'm using a Rocket theme template. In preparatiion for upgrading to Joomla 2.5x I did the following:
1) I successfully updated to the latest version of Gantry.
2) I successfully updated the the Mission Control admin Template (recommended)
3) I then successfully updated to the latest version of Admin Tools. When I tried to navigate away from the "successful installation screen" I get this error:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

I cannot access the Joomla admin area at all. Yikes!

I have the site backed up, but the Akeeba Extract Wizard didn't like me pointing it at the latest restore point. If I can't recover this, I'm out a days of work.

Thoughts?

Shortly after submitting this I found the troubleshooting article:
Installing / updating Admin Tools brought your site down...

Following these steps, I regained access to my back end. Apparently, I missed this important piece of information:

If you have a Joomla! 1.7 site, you will have to install Admin Tools 2.1.14, not 2.2.x.

Yes, this is correct, Admin Tools 2.2.x is not supposed to run on Joomla! 1.7. The last version which can be installed on Joomla! 1.7 is 2.1.14.

At this point I must warn you that Joomla! 1.7 is considered insecure and can be hacked. Due to the nature of the vulnerability, Admin Tools can not protect you. Please upgrade to Joomla! 2.5 a.s.a.p.
