INSERT INTO `lpc01_users` (`menutype`, `title`, `alias`, `note`, `path`, `link`, `type`, `published`, `parent_id`, `level`, `component_id`, `ordering`, `checked_out`, `checked_out_time`, `browserNav`, `access`, `img`, `template_style_id`, `params`, `lft`, `rgt`, `home`, `language`, `client_id`) VALUES
('menu', 'com_joomlaupdate', 'Joomla! Update', '', 'Joomla! Update', 'index.php?option=com_joomlaupdate', 'component', 0, 1, 1, 28, 0, 0, '0000-00-00 00:00:00', 0, 0, 'class:joomlaupdate', 0, '', 41, 42, 0, '*', 1);

Pamela,

The insert command you pasted looks like something which should insert to the menu table, not the users table. What, exactly, was the original SQL statement reading?

this is the information I was referring to with the sql statement

The SQL statement on that page reads
INSERT INTO `#__menu`
and your code reads
INSERT INTO `lpc01_users`
Why did you decide to improvise and replace the menu table with the users table?

No, Pamela, I told you to replace #__ with your site's prefix. And I said, for example, if you have #__users please change that to lpc01_users. I DID NOT say "if you have #__menus change it to lpc01_users". I was very specific in what I wrote.
