Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: 5.3.5
MySQL version: 5.1.41
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: 2.2.5Pro

Description of my issue:One of my employees upgraded Admin Tools Pro today to 2.2.5. She received an JUB_UPDATER_ERROR_COLLECTION_FOPEN error message. I have searched your forums and the Joomla forums for any mention of this error and I could not find any. Should I be concerned about this error message and what does the error mean?

As mentioned in our release announcements, you are not supposed to use the Joomla! extensions updater to update Admin Tools. Please use the integrated Live Update instead.

We are prevented from using the Joomla extensions updater to update Admin Tools by our security office. We download the latest version of Admin Tools from the website and then use the Extension Manager to install the updates.

Hm, I think I misread the error message. I thought it was reading JLIB_ not JUB_. That error message you have comes neither from Joomla! not from Admin Tools. I have idea what it is and why you get it. Making a wild guess, I think it complains about URL fopen() wrappers not being available on your host which seems to be consistent with your description of Joomla!'s own extensions updater not being available due to security reasons.

Thank you for your responce. My employee was able to install Admin Tools Pro 2.2.5 on other sites on the same server without an error. The Joomla installation that gave the error reports that Admin Tools Pro 2.2.5 has been installed. So I am not going to worry about the error message. Thank you for your time. Please close the problem.
