Joomla! version: 1.7.5
PHP version: 5.3.9
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: Rochen
Admin Tools version: 2.2.4 pro

Description of my issue:

Hi,

Being an idiot, I installed Admin Tools 2.2.4 pro on a J1.7.5 site, forgetting that I hadn't yet upgraded this one to 2.5 (I can't yet, as some extensions still aren't compatible).

It installed fine until I put in the download ID code...

The frontend of the website works fine, but in the backend all I can get now is:

Fatal error: Class 'JUpdater' not found in ../administrator/components/com_admintools/models/cpanel.php on line 264

Can I possibly go back to version 2.2.3 somehow? Sorry :(

Dave.

Ok, so if anyone else does the same thing as me, you'll need to:

1/ Get into PhpMyAdmin
2/ Find database table xxx_extensions
3/ Look for name 'admintools'
4/ Edit and remove the download ID from the parameters
5/ Save

Worked for me!

Dave.

P.S. Why can't reply to other people's posts, as I know the answer to the post that took place immediately after mine?

Hi Dave,

Actually, I've put instructions in the release announcement. Since my instructions only require you to remove files by FTP, users are less prone to screw something up than when tinkering with the database :)

Tinkering with the database is always fun - just make sure you have a backup, just in case!
