Description of my issue:

I have upgraded to admin tools pro 2.2.3 and it reports "up-to-date". The joomla extension manager says there is an update available however - to admintools 2.2.3 which is what I have installed!

Could you tell me how i can correct this please?

Thanks Nic. After you gave me the clue I went on the extensions update page and used the "purge cache" button and voila! no updates!
